Introduction to Visualization Webcast Training

KAUST Supercomputing Lab (KSL) and KAUST Visualization Lab (KVL) are hosting on Friday April 17, 2015, a live webcast training in the library computer room from 5pm - 1am. In this one-day class, TACC Vis Staff will present information via webcast on available visualization resources. Training on the use of remote visualization software to visualize data sets generated on HPC systems will be provided. A review of the scientific visualization process and an overview of the visualization software available will also be provided.
A workshop is scheduled at the end of the day where in-person attendees who have brought their own laptops with Paraview 4.2.0 and/or Visit 2.8.1 installed, will be able to work on their own data with KSL/KVL staff assistance. Paraview and Visit are available via the KAUST IT Managed Software Center software.
