Shaheen III Phase 1 Factory Trials at HPE factory in Chippewa falls, Wisconsin. The goal is to have a pre-shipment test and validation of the Shaheen III installation in the factory before it is packed and shipped to KAUST for on-site installation. This testing phase is an important milestone of the project plan for Shaheen III phase 1 and helps mitigate risks of issues during the on-site installation and deployment.

This is an advance notice about our next maintenance session on Shaheen, which is scheduled for 3rd of July 2023 from 8am.

During this one day outage, we are planning to install essential xc40 software patches.

At the same time, we will be working on scratch and project filesystems to perform necessary hardware work.

Shaheen compute, login nodes and filesystem will not be available during the maintenance.
